About the Event
Join leading Shakespearean Professor Judith Buchanan (University of Oxford) for a short and lively introduction to the play Henry V followed by rehearsal-room conversations with award-winning actor Joseph Millson who played the part of Henry V last year (Known for counltess TV, Film and Theatre performaces world wide), Harry McEntire (RSC past member, The Last Kingdom, Netflix...) and Leigh Quinn (current member of the RCS for over 5+ years!!!). A dream team. Actors Paul O'Dea, Molly Dobbs and the host of In The Room Live, Phillip Laing, will also be there to give thier voices to the text.
Watch and listen as actors try out different ways of thinking about their part and performing the lines as they explore the play in conversation with Professor Buchanan. And have a chance to volunteer to read with them if you fancy a go. There will time to ask questions of the actors and of Professor Buchanan at the end.
