This online session will focus on the British Received Pronunciation (RP) accent. Eliza will explore the varieties of this accent as well as the sounds & vocal skills you need to perfect it! The British RP accent is an absolute staple in the actors toolkit & one that has helped Eliza book many jobs!

About the Event
Eliza is a television and theatre actor mostly known for her role as Lady Aelswith on Netflix’s The Last Kingdom as well as her upcoming role as Carly Lord in the new Sky Series A Town Called Malice. Eliza has worked with incredible actors and students from all around the world whilst being a coach for The Actor's Community and is "so thrilled and delighted to be joining this magnificent community again" at the beginning of 2023! Eliza is half English and half American and has always been passionate and intrigued about accents! Throughout her past teaching at The Actor’s Community – Eliza focused on providing accent and dialect training to actors looking to perfect their British RP accent as well as hone their General American accent. Being confident in your accent toolkit is such an important and vital skill as an actor to transform into different characters.
You can even book a one to one session to work on your accents or acting with Eliza too!
