Masterclass with Witcher/Doctor Who/Poldark Director Edward Bazalgette

The Actor’s Community is pleased to announce that director Edward Bazalgette will be leading a class with actor/coach Mark Rowley. We will be looking at how a director approaches a scene/ episode and how useful it can be for us, as actors, to understand this vision. Even before we turn up on set there is a shot list and a tight schedule. By understanding how a director breaks down a scene and how they want to film it, we can help tell the story better as actors. Teamwork and a shared vision. In the class, we will look at a scene and allow some members to showcase their self-tapes for that scene.

After this, we will open up the room to members who have questions. We strongly recommend you watch Ed’s work before the class. It’s mightily impressive and will naturally create a better class.
